VIDEO REFLECTION
I shared a video about a marshmallow test. A few experts test children with marshmallow in the video. I like this video because it provides scientific data to understand children’s attitude. Moreover we can understand children’s developmental stages according to behaviors of them while they are tested. Some children can not be patience and they eat marshmallow but others can be patience and they want to gain two marshmallow. While experts tell about test children, all of them accept this contract, after a while they can not manage themselves and they eat a marshmallow. This video gives information about both developmental stages and personal qualifications of children. Younger children are weaker at the point of managing themselves and they immediately forget their contract because of qualification of them based on their developmental stages. Other children can manage themselves because they are aware of their contracts. According to their developmental stages, they have self confidence and they believe that they can success. Consequently we can understand that age and personal qualifications can affect behavior of children considerably.

YanıtlaSilI watched the video you uploaded and read your reflection. You are right,it is a both nice and educational video.The prettiness of children has really entertained me.They are so much cute. The data video has showed is also worth to attention for educators or parents, because they can behave these children according to their this developmental stage. As you said, while younger children have difficulty in managing themselves or self-confidence,older ones are more confident on having any success.So, it reflects that behaviours of children can change according to their ages and developmental stages. I, as a person who is going to be a teacher, suggest all educators and parents to watch this video and thanks a lot for your sharing it with us.It is really a good choice and reflection.
